Profiles is partnering with a renowned and nationally recognized retail organization to find an Associate Graphic Designer to join their production team in King of Prussia, PA.

The Associate Graphic Designer will assume responsibility for digital properties across the client's portfolio of brands, including websites, micro-sites, blogs & landing pages. The Associate Graphic Designer ensures the delivery of creative assets as high quality products that follow brand guidelines and contribute to the overall growth.

This individual will create and maintain a world-class customer experience with a focus on next stage digital innovation - this includes the integration of storytelling and content, video / motion and personalization, all with a keen understanding of the in-store, high touch experience and drivers to support customer delight and all points of engagement. The Associate Graphic Designer will understand UX and technology to the degree that they can make recommendations and plans based on implications for cross functional teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable with interpreting and extending design system for front-end content management systems. This role will be deeply involved in the re-platform efforts and will work in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe CC, related to design and build of the brands' website.

Associate Graphic Designer Responsibilities:

  • Design, organize, execute and optimize all promotional and editorial digital design projects including sale and event-based e-mails, special features, user interface and on site display interactive assets.
  • Create cross-channel, merchandise-driven editorial storytelling with a focus on usability.
  • Execute projects and meet deadlines.
  • Deliver optimized digital-ready files and work closely with Production Manager.
  • Liaise with internal partners (e.g., copywriters, photographers, art directors, marketing, social and PR teams) to deliver high-quality final elements.
  • Research appropriate technologies and methods to help ensure designs incorporate the leading edge of digital and social media design.
  • Help implement systems to enhance the brand narrative.
  • Participate in and prepare for weekly creative team meetings.
  • Work closely with the digital, print, and branding teams to execute the senior creative direction.
  • Work closely with photo editorial art directors to maximize unified design direction of assets across owned and paid channels.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on responsive design frameworks and agile content methodologies as well as ADA compliance.
  • Document guidelines and requirements for internal and partner agencies.
  • Investigate and share best of immerging tech and creative systems.

Associate Graphic Designer Requirements:

  • Work with and refine existing templates and develop new template framework that can be employed for multiple use.
  • Ability to prototype or work with front end and media team to create prototype models.
  • Ability to perform QA and testing with a balanced customer centric focus on design builds.
  • Practice with or ability to learn Adobe Experience Manager and or other comparable content management systems prefers.
  • Interest in video and motion creative with focus for website and social media applications.
  • Strong typography, conceptualization, compositional & graphic design skills.
  • Production knowledge and ability to translate print to motion.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and willingness to be a team player.
  • Ability to manage several projects; efficiency and organization skills are a must.
  • Fluency in industry standard software suites (Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premier).
  • Strong technical know-how and ability to create elements that can be reinterpreted into digital graphics appropriately.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and an interest in experimentation/various communication formats.
