We are actively seeking an expert Creative & Marketing Project Manager to join our client in Philadelphia, PA.

The Creative & Marketing Project Manager will offer demonstrated capabilities in ensuring oversight of department workflow and making sure that the best talent is assigned to the right projects and tasks for their skills and areas of expertise. The role is fundamental to ensuring that projects flow through the business in the appropriate manor by helping to assess the scope of client opportunities we receive then making sure the appropriate briefs are generated and communicated within the department as necessary. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the traffic management and resource/capacity planning for our multidisciplinary creative studio.

Creative & Marketing Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Work with Head of Operations and CDs to streamline creative workflows and processes for the US office.
  • Identify and implement new tools, processes and best practices for creative project and resource management.
  • Develop and advocate for file management systems, tools and best practices to ensure files are secure, backed up, and easy to share across the organization and with clients.
  • Work with account leads and project teams to identify creative resource needs and help them understand creative team processes and timelines.
  • Collate resource requests and plan workflow accordingly.
  • Assign creative resources to projects in consultation with the CDs, project leads, and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage the time of all US-based creative staff-both full-time as well as freelance-and ensure they are fully utilized and billable as much as possible.
  • Onboard all freelance support, ensuring all appropriate documentation is gathered and labor laws are adhered to.
  • Attend relevant internal briefings on projects.
  • Work in collaboration with colleagues to identify and resolve potential issues before they arise.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timelines, deliverables and highest level of quality is achieved.

Creative & Marketing Project Manager Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of resource planning and project workflow management, ideally within an integrated, creative or marketing agency environment.
  • Ability to build immediate rapport, gain trust and adequately support all members of staff.
  • Passion for creative processes and a commitment to the project teams to find the right resource solutions.
  • Pro-active and solution-orientated approach to working with multidisciplinary teams across a range of geographical locations to facilitate forward looking resource planning and the seamless execution of projects.
  • Ability to support internal teams to define the clients' creative needs and assist the writing and communication of associated briefs.
  • The ability to juggle multiple campaigns/projects simultaneously in a calm and assured manner.
  • Understanding of a very broad range of creative deliverables and stages-from concept and ideation to print production, from digital to environmental, from copywriting to 3D design, from presentation design to document layout, from identity development to campaign development.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical clients or understanding of pharmaceutical industry needs and requirements a big plus.
