A national leading company in the residential real estate industry is seeking a Business Development Director in Richmond, VA. Lead a digital advertising sales team of 10 inside sales professionals. This is an onsite position in the Richmond, VA metro.

Business Development Director Requirements: 
  • 2+ years of Sales Management experience, overseeing 10+ sales professionals within SaaS, Real Estate, or Digital Media Advertising sales.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • Proficient in using data to drive management and outreach strategy decisions.
  • Experience leading inside sales efforts in a fast-paced organization with a short cycle-time sales model.
  • Demonstrated track record of success and commitment to previous employers.

Business Development Director Responsibilities: 
  • Revenue Growth: Drive team revenues to meet and exceed annual sales growth targets.
  • Performance Target Establishment: Establish individual and team performance targets aligned with overall business goals.
  • Coaching and Training: Provide coaching and training as necessary to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage the identification, prioritization, and acquisition of new customer relationships, as well as the retention and growth of current customers.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance to ensure achievement of business performance targets and standards.
  • Talent Management: Attract, hire, develop, and motivate high-impact sales professionals capable of exceeding sales quotas.
