Join one of the nation’s most-respected financial oversight authorities as their remote Editorial Project Manager. While fully remote, this position is based out of Washington, DC.

Working with the Office of Corporate Communications, the Editorial Project Manager supports the leaders and members of the Communications team to advance business unit goals by managing low to medium complexity projects through complete life cycle.

Editorial Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Write communications and publications according to established corporate standards for order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
  • Proofread, edit, standardize and change materials prepared by others to ensure style, grammar, clarity and accuracy of communications projects.
  • Submit copy to and confers with clients and management for review, input and, ultimately, approval.
  • Maintain project plans, highlight reports, exception reports and exception plans.
  • Inform stakeholders of project timeline and key deliverables.
  • Attend project meetings when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance project management best practices and implement them tailored to needs of stakeholders.
  • Report upon project status, identifies risks/issues and decision points to Project Management and Operations team.
  • Knowledge of project management & cross-functional team management.

Editorial Project Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of project management and editorial experience.
  • Project Management skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries from internal constituent in a timely, professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively, work multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines for a wide variety of assignments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows/MS Office Suite applications including Microsoft Project Management Portfolio and SharePoint.
  • AP style familiarity and ability to work within FINRA’s style and branding guidelines.
