A large mobile and technology company located in Sterling, VA is seeking Jr. Project Manager with a strong background in Insurance/Retail for an immediate contract position. This individual will be a self-directed individual with a strong ability to manage ambiguity, adapt readily and easily.

Jr. Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Project Manager will support on-boarding for about seven new clients in the pipeline, not currently supported by the product team.
  • Resource will liaison with cross functional departments to include: Product Development, Finance, Customer Solutions, Supply Chain Management, occasionally Legal, and the clients corporate level operations representatives (some of which are Manufacturer OEMs). 
  • New client on-boarding will be IT light with little technical integration.
  • Clients will include a mix of new programs and re-launches in the retail space – where protection or warranty plans are sold – wireless and consumer electronics.
  • Operations logistics and client facing.

Jr. Project Manager Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years project management experience.
  • Wireless retail or insurance background is required.
  • PMP certification is highly desired.
  • Technical documentation skill-set or ability to translate needs to specific requirements, ensuring all stakeholders are on the same page.
  • Keen sense of attention to detail.
