Marketing Analytics Manager
Join the growing team of an award-winning web services digital agency, based in Baltimore, MD as their Marketing Analytics Manager. This is a Remote opportunity.
The Marketing Analytics Manager executes the use of features of analytics, testing, personalization, search engine optimization (SEO) and targeting systems, working with measurement tools to configure, manage, analyze, report, and optimize our clients’ digital experiences. The role focuses on continuously improving clients’ digital ecosystems through data-driven insights.
Marketing Analytics Manager Responsibilities:

Work with Digital Strategists and clients to understand and clarify the tactical aspects of measurement and reporting strategies, identify targets for measurement in UX solutions, and recommend optimization approaches that align with operational realities.

Work with a variety of Analytics tools including, but not limited to: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Sitecore Analytics.

Responsible for developing measurement plans, implementing necessary tags, and tracking codes, and ensuring proper implementation across multiple clients and projects.

Plans the aspects of Optimization implementation with clients and internal staff, including the necessary site modifications, content planning, workflows, rules, tracking, and other elements necessary for successful programs.

Help maintain a knowledge base about the systems and train internal staff in the systems. Occasionally, the role may participate in the review of new platforms.

Attend new business opportunities (e.g., pitch meetings, conferences) if the project relates to aspects of the role.

Work alongside Digital Strategists at to determine the appropriate conceptual approach to execution, including for instance, personalization activities such as profiling schemes, content scoring schemes, metadata, campaign definition, conversion definition, customer touchpoints, and other related items.

Tests and tracks implementation of digital features, including in some cases the simulation of user states, tracking of program performance, and development of segment-based Analytics, including multi-channel implementations.

Responsible for analytic and measurement reports for clients. This may include setting up automated reports using Google Data Studio or creating specific reports and/or templates for reporting analytic analysis back to the client.
Marketing Analytics Manager Requirements: - At least three years of professional Analytics and Optimization experience.
- Experience working on large-scale custom applications and/or CMS (Content Management System) projects.

Experience setting up, implementing, and maintaining common web Analytics and measurement tools – especially Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio.

Experience planning, setting up, executing, and measuring A/B and multivariate tests.

Experience analyzing and reporting on content and technical SEO and working with related tools – especially MozPro and Screaming Frog.

Proven ability to communicate complex topics and data insights to a variety of audiences in an easy-to-understand, meaningful way.

Experience producing Analytics and Optimization deliverables (e.g., measurement plans, data dictionaries, test plans, analytics dashboards, analytics and optimization reports, training materials).

A working understanding of HTML and conventional Web publishing frameworks.

Knowledge of evolving interface standards (AJAX, JavaScript, search, responsive design).

Human-centered computing, Information Architecture, or Web content management background.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Superb organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multi-task, working on several projects or tasks at once.

Ability to work on tight deadlines with tight turnarounds.
