We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Marketing Coordinator at a Fortune 10 Financial Services Corporation. This position is a contract assignment in Richmond, VA.

The ideal Marketing Coordinator candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills with a combination of event and project management.

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Communications & Operations:
    • Create, coordinate and support data reporting and sprint tracking in collaboration with various stakeholders.
    • Support market communications including activity on Slack and other forums to elevate and engage community work.
    • Create, coordinate, and manage appropriate level communications with various partners to execute on events including run of show, speaking remarks and event recaps.
    • Maintain community vehicles including newsletters, dashboards, and other internal marketing vehicles.
    • Build specific dashboards or surveys to drive understanding of initiative impact.
    • Liaise with communications teammates to support internal and external coverage of programs and activities related to employee engagement, executive engagement, business development and community impact.
    • Be team central point of contact to collect and archive impact stories and collateral (i.e., photos, quotes) for use in internal and external communications (i.e., annual reports, award applications).
    • Create and customize market-level messages and surveys.
    • Serve as liaison for community and external relationships.
    • Provide partnership and administrative support for community programming.
  • Special Event Support:
    • Support virtual and in-person learning events with nonprofit partners, executive events, employee recognition, etc.
    • Support onsite logistical event support and activations, where necessary, to ensure high quality employee volunteer experiences, drive volunteer retention and increase awareness of company’s work.
    • Help execute volunteer recognition programs.
  • Program and Project Management:
    • Support and manage activities and special events associated with programs and local strategy.
    • Maintain editorial calendar.
    • Supports wide project and process management initiatives as needed.
    • General administrative support for regional programming and events.
