A global brand headquartered in the Washington, DC metro area is looking for a Print Production Designer to join their growing creative team. This position is 100% remote, however, local candidates are encouraged to apply.

The Print Production Designer will work with creative teams, internal clients on the development and execution of technical design. This long-term contract is a great opportunity to work on high-profile brands in a fun, collaborative, and creative environment.

Print Production Designer Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in visual arts, design, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in production for print.
  • Strong understanding of interactive production and knowledge of design fundamentals including layout, print, color theory, and typography.
  • Expert in Adobe’s Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Great attention to detail, while having an open mind for creativity.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced creative environment with tight deadlines, while taking creative direction from managers.

Print Production Designer Responsibilities:

  • Working with product managers to refine design specifications and collaborating with art directors, designers, and developers.
  • Incorporate changes to existing projects.
  • Reformat and resize images, and improve resolution.
  • Create mechanical working files from sketches and concepts.
  • Prepare files adequately for digital, web, and print production.
  • Finalizing files and responsible for delivering, archiving, and updating files when necessary.
  • Consistently apply and enforce style/brand guidelines.
