The ideal Senior Director of Digital UX Design candidate will have extensive UX leadership experience with an international retailer. Additionally, the Senior Director of Digital UX Design will be well-versed in managing and leading various large divisions (consumer-facing, delivery, research, etc.) under one umbrella.

Senior Director of Digital UX Design Responsibilities:

• Deliver strategic and innovative UX experiences that optimize business goals and target user needs across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
• Develop, execute, and lead multidisciplinary design teams to effectively deliver unique and creative prototypes to launch to customers.
• Own the user experience from ideation through conception and execution (vision, strategy, UI, wireframes, prototypes, etc.).
• Lead the overall UX (User Experience) interaction design, strategy, and solution.
• Create and characterize actionable processes leveraged by the UX team to execute throughout the digital strategy.
• Cross-functional collaboration amongst various teams such as, but not limited to, Marketing, Operations, Product, Customer Loyalty, and IT.
• Deliver influential leadership accompanied by proven business recommendations to accomplish business objectives.
• Adopt and apply a “mobile-first” approach.

Senior Director of Digital UX Design Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Design Research, HCI, Human Factors Design Strategy, or another related field.
• 10+ years of WORK experience leading User Experience (UX) teams of more than 6 designers.
• 5+ years of WORK experience in UX Design (UX Designer, UX Strategist, etc.).
• Effective track record of creating effective concepts, interfaces, and experiences for large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality design output and foster design strategy growth.
• Extensive knowledge of Agile, Lean UX, Mobile First, Accessibility, Design, and Prototyping tools.
• Recognized ability to define style guides and pattern libraries for global design patterns. 
• Deep understanding of the latest design trends in motion design, web, and mobile.
