A rapidly growing global consultancy and partner to cutting edge life sciences and biotech companies is in need of a remote Senior Medical Writer for an immediate direct hire opportunity. Ideal candidates will have experience in a medical communications agency experience. 

Senior Medical Writer Remote Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and deliver clear, factual, high-quality medical communications to clients while monitoring and meeting
    project budget and timing specifications.
  • Thoroughly research content areas and maintain a high level of expertise within determined therapeutic areas.
  • Effectively implement stakeholder edits and feedback into all deliverables.
  • Identify project areas that will require input from additional team members and elicit this input as needed.
  • Research, write and revise content.
  • Develop clear and well thought out content outlines and drafts.
  • Proactively include relevant, supporting research and data into
    deliverables.
  • Ensure appropriate and accurate flow, grammar and content in original works as well as in edited, referenced works.
  • Manage successful communications with all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure that prudent information is shared effectively within
    internal project teams and keep project team and all appropriate stakeholders apprised of project status

Senior Medical Writer Remote Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years medical writing experience within a medial communications agency.
  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD).
  • Publications experience working on deliverables such as posters, abstracts, and manuscripts.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience in med affairs in addition to publications preferred but not required.
  • Oncology and/or hematology experience and the ability and willingness to work across TAs preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Proficiency in scientific research.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Effective attention to detail and accuracy.
