We are partnering with a luxury creative agency located in Washington, DC to find a Social Media Account Manager to join their growing team.

The ideal Social Media Account Manager candidate will have an endless desire for understanding everything about the client needs and raise the bar of output quality. This person must reside on the east coast and Local REMOTE candidates encouraged to apply!

Social Media Account Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as a B2C Account Executive for social media at a Creative or Communications agency.
  • Expertise in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Proficiency of MS office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal communication, verbal and written skills.
  • Strong enthusiasm and energy.

Social Media Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the social media strategist and community managers to manage daily client relationships in a proactive and responsive way.
  • Main point of contact on social accounts and oversee creation of content on all social media platforms, serve knowledgeable recommendations to clients, and manage social media related deliverables.
  • Support social media managers with creative briefs and develop tactical plan for client delivery.
  • Manage all internal communications and projects related to client needs, applying client feedback to deliverables.
  • Stay ahead of competitive landscape, client industries and influencers, product knowledge, and overall trendspotting for social activations.
  • Develop persuasive presentation skills.
  • Manage internal and external expectations with a ‘can do’ attitude.
