Social Media Manager
A CPG organization headquartered in Baltimore County, MD is seeking a Social Media Manager to manage and plan content for their corporate and/or consumer social media. This role is contract with the potential for a full-time job when the contract period is complete.
The candidate ideally will be hybrid in the office but is open to 100% remote, candidates local to the Baltimore area are encouraged to apply!
Social Media Manager Responsibilities:
- Planning social media calendar for LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and/or Facebook
- Background in planning, strategy, and production of content
- Updating social media calendar with copy, creative, and status of post.
- Writing social copy.
- Posting/scheduling content via Hootsuite.
- Monthly social media meetings with leadership.
- Sending social media copy and calendar to key stakeholders for edits and approval.
- Define KPIs and KRAs for social media campaigns
- Monitor SEO and all reporting/analytics
- Monitoring and responding to comments/engagement (working with our Consumer Affairs team as needed).
- Collaborate with Consumer social media team on content that can be shared across our channels.
- 2-3 years of social media management experience
- Extremely proficient in LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Self-starter who can operate without constant direction.
- Experience with B2B and/or B2C communication
- Strong writing skills and a strong sense of corporate communication.
- Experience pulling and reporting on social media analytics
