Join the department heads of a home improvement sales software company as their VP of Marketing (SaaS). This forward-thinking company helps businesses and contractors, construction workers, and handymen do business digitally through streamlined, paperless processes. This business disrupts and elevates the user experience for contract labor work needed for home sales.

The VP of Marketing will work work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success and should come with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and leading marketing strategy in a fast-paced hyper-growth SaaS environment. The ideal VP of Marketing candidate is specialized in demand generation and pipeline management.

This leadership position is full-time remote. Candidates who meet the below requirements will be eligible for consideration.


VP of Marketing Requirements:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in software/SaaS digital demand generation.
  • Track record of measurable success in developing and growing pipeline through innovative campaigns and programs to scale company growth.
  • Significant experience in partnering with Sales to find effective and efficient ways to drive pipeline.
  • Management skills and hands-on approach with integrated campaign development and execution.
  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management within a B2B SaaS business model.
  • P&L and budget management experience.
  • Developing marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

VP of Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership on overall trajectory and growth of the organization
  • Review, improve and develop reporting sets for marketing function to monitor overall performance
  • Represent the marketing function, and deliver reporting sets in leadership meetings
  • Work collaboratively with CEO in the research, identification and development of new marketing opportunities through trade shows, conferences, partnerships, associations, and competitors
  • Supervise the design and development of company & partner marketing and sales materials such as one-pagers, paid + organic digital campaigns, landing pages, email campaigns, PR, promotion programs, trade show materials, webinar topics & guests
  • Oversee the relationships with outside PR and advertising agencies Lead a team of professionals to successfully develop a comprehensive, full-funnel demand generation strategy.
  • Design and execute complex, end-to-end marketing campaigns that deliver results measured in MQLs and pipeline.
  • Own budget, metrics and foster an understanding of our efforts through great internal reporting and sharing of results.
  • Penetrate our target geos and segments with the right mix of targeted marketing and programs in partnership with Sales.
  • Develop a strategy that combines both technical and content elements, to drive ongoing improvements in SEO and organic search results.
