A  mobile and technology company is seeking a Remote VR Designer for a contract opportunity. This individual will partner with stakeholders to create/design virtual reality experiences.

This role is 100% remote but candidates local to Nashville, TN are encouraged to apply!

Virtual Reality Designer Responsibilities:

  • Researching and understanding training objectives (step-by-step processes, repair flows, etc.).
  • From brainstorming through implementation, the Immersive UX/UI Designer will possess attention to detail and passion for usability, and accessibility
  • Designing storyboards, UI, and environments for VR training activities.
  • Creating, preparing, and optimizing VR assets using 3D modeling software (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, etc.).
  • Work with various internal partners to design, build and bring AR/VR/ML solution ideas to life.
  • Create compelling interactive product interface demos and prototypes
  • Embed in multi-disciplinary teams in creating quick prototypes and testing concepts.

Virtual Reality Designer Requirements:

  • Virtual reality and/or game design experience.
  • Ability to rapidly create sketches, mockups, and iterative prototypes.
  • 3D modeling and hard surface modeling experience.
  • Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles
  • Proficiency with Unity, Unreal, Cinema 4D.
  • Strong portfolio of previous work related to the design of immersive, interactive experiences
