A leader in the technology industry is hiring a Sr. Database Developer in Bridgeton, MO for a contract-to-hire full time position, onsite 2 days a week.

Sr. Database Developer Perks:

Sr. Database Developer Requirements:
  • 4+ years in a hybrid data/platform role (analytics engineering, BI development, platform operations, or similar).
  • Strong SQL (Spark SQL a plus) and working Python for pipelines, automation, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern data platform (Databricks strongly preferred; Snowflake/BigQuery acceptable).
  • Experience building executive-facing dashboards (Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting production systems, including on-call rotations, incident triage, and vendor escalations.

Sr. Database Developer Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for executives, operations, and sales leadership across forward and reverse mortgage divisions.
  • Own data pipelines and curated datasets in Databricks Unity Catalog (Spark SQL, Python), automating manual reporting and retiring spreadsheet-driven processes.
  • Serve as primary on-call escalation point for production platform incidents (Encompass, Salesforce, Relcu, Five9, Databricks) — triaging, communicating status, and driving resolution.
  • Build monitoring, alerting, and health checks to catch issues proactively, and perform root-cause analysis to implement lasting fixes.
  • Support platform integrations and data sync (APIs, connectors, scheduled jobs), and document systems/runbooks so knowledge isn’t siloed.
