A leader in the restaurant and food service industry is hiring a Communications Specialist in Alexandria, VA for a remote contract position. Candidates located on the East Coast are encouraged to apply:

Communications Specialist Perks:
• Contract position with opportunity for extension.
• Flexible schedule, 30–40 hours per week.
• Exposure to both internal and external communications.
• Collaborative work with agency and vendor partners.

Communications Specialist Requirements:
• 2-5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Canva, and digital listing platforms (Yext or similar).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Communications Specialist Responsibilities:
• Draft and edit internal newsletters and company announcement emails.
• Write and edit content for websites and franchise location pages.
• Create light graphics and digital content using Canva.
• Update and manage online listings and location pages.
• Coordinate with agency and vendor partners to support projects and deadlines.
