A leader in the nonprofit industry is hiring a Director or Senior Manager, PR & Media Relations in Charlotte, NC, for a full-time, hybrid position.

Director or Senior Manager, PR & Media Relations Perks:
• $65,000–$75,000 salary with mission-driven work.
• Hybrid schedule with flexibility and potential for remote work in major media markets.

Director or Senior Manager, PR & Media Relations Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience, but ideally 5–10 years of experience in PR, media relations, or communications preferred.
• Proven success in earned media strategy and media outreach.
• Strong writing skills across press releases and social content.
• Existing media relationships strongly preferred.
• Experience with crisis communications and PESO framework.

Director or Senior Manager, PR & Media Relations Responsibilities:
• Lead earned media strategy and media outreach initiatives.
• Develop and distribute press releases and key communications.
• Build and maintain relationships with media and reporters.
• Support crisis communications and reputation management efforts.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging.
