A leader in the consumer packaged goods industry is hiring a Manager or Senior Manager, D2C in Cincinnati, Ohio for a full time position, hybrid.
Manager or Senior Manager, D2C Perks
• Own the direct to consumer growth strategy and Shopify ecommerce business.
• Work directly with the CMO in a nimble, entrepreneurial CPG environment.
• Lead demand generation across ecommerce, paid media, email, SMS, SEO, and social.
• Have direct ownership of customer acquisition, retention, conversion, and revenue growth.
• Lead consumer service operations while managing an internal resource and external partners.
Manager or Senior Manager, D2C Requirements
• Three to five or more years of direct to consumer or ecommerce experience, ideally within consumer products or CPG.
• Direct Shopify experience managing merchandising, site content, promotions, and conversion rate optimization.
• Experience owning email and SMS lifecycle programs, including segmentation, automated flows, and campaign calendars.
• Experience overseeing paid media across Meta and Google with responsibility for planning, budget pacing, and optimization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use metrics including MER, ROAS, AOV, CAC, retention, and customer lifetime value to drive decisions.
Manager or Senior Manager, D2C Responsibilities
• Own the Shopify ecommerce business, including merchandising, content, promotions, conversion optimization, and overall site performance.
• Develop and execute demand generation and retention strategies across paid media, email, SMS, SEO, organic social, and subscription programs.
• Monitor ecommerce and marketing performance while managing budgets, contribution margins, customer acquisition costs, and promotional profitability.
• Manage consumer service processes, response standards, escalations, and overall customer experience.
• Lead internal resources and external agencies while developing a coordinated D2C strategy that supports broader Amazon and retail business goals.
