A global luxury brand headquartered in the Washington, DC Metro area is expanding their Global Digital team and looking for a Content Strategist for a long-term contract with the opportunity to convert to full-time. Compensation for this position is $45-49/hour depending on experience and is eligible for health insurance and PTO benefits through Profiles. 

The Content Strategist is an integral part of the part of the organization's global platform and be responsible for ensuring that current and future content can be effectively constructed, deployed and maintained on all digital channels.

The ideal talent brings experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and a strategic mindset for managing and executing content across multiple digital channels. 

Content Strategist Responsibilities: 

  • Focus on strategy, structure, process, and governance for the company's global Content platforms and systems, including Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Responsible for collecting content requirements based on business, product, and platform needs.
  • Support governance and process definitions for content platforms and systems.
  • Serve as the content strategy lead and represent the Platform content team for initiatives and planning sessions.
  • Model content requirements for the most efficient and strategic use within the company's multiple content platforms and systems (WEM, AEM, WP, etc.). 
  • Define and document content structure and contextual use of content for digital adoption in projects across systems. 
  • Collaborate across multiple teams including Product, Content Ops, UX, CX, Analytics and IT. 
  • Identify the content strategy dependencies across digital for existing and new systems and platforms.
  • Serve as POC and SME for areas where content strategy needs arise from Digital Platform or Project teams. 

Content Strategist Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, advertising or related field.
  • 3+ years working with enterprise content systems and 5 years working in a corporate environment or consulting for an enterprise organization. 
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager CMS. 
  • Experience with driving content strategy lead to represent the platform, lead content initiatives and set governencene for new users. 
  • Knowledge and previous experience in idenntifying new ways to use content across digital platforms with a focus on future use across a global organization.
