Account Director
A leader in the video marketing and creative agency industry is hiring an Account Director, New Business in Washington, DC for a full-time hybrid position.
This role requires onsite presence in downtown DC several days per week. Please note, out of market candidates, there will be no relocation assistance for this position.
The Account Director, New Business will drive revenue growth by developing new client relationships, leading proposals and pitches, and guiding creative teams through campaign execution for a variety of brand, nonprofit, and corporate clients.
Account Director, New Business Perks:

Account Director, New Business Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-8+ years of experience in account management, client services, or business development within an agency or marketing environment.
- Proven success generating new business opportunities and managing the proposal process.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and managing sales pipelines.
- Knowledge of marketing, advertising, or content production trends a plus.
Account Director, New Business Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industries and verticals.
- Serve as the primary client contact throughout the proposal, production, and delivery process.
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to develop ideas, budgets, and proposals.
- Negotiate terms and close new business to meet sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- Represent the agency at professional and networking events to expand visibility and pipeline.
