A leader in the media and broadcasting industry is hiring an Associate Producer in New York for a full-time position, onsite Wednesday through Sunday.

Associate Producer Perks:

Associate Producer Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of prior live television experience.
• Strong editorial judgment with knowledge of news, politics, and current events.
• Excellent research, writing, and script development skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to breaking news.

Associate Producer Responsibilities:
• Pitch and execute creative story ideas and segment strategies.
• Conduct in-depth research and prepare detailed packets with key insights.
• Write scripts, guest introductions, teases, and host questions.
• Select and build elements such as video, sound, and graphics to support stories.
• Coordinate guest booking and travel logistics, particularly during breaking news.
