A leader in the media and broadcasting industry is hiring an Editorial Producer in New York, NY for a full-time position, onsite Sunday through Thursday.

Editorial Producer Perks:

Editorial Producer Requirements:
• 5+ years newsroom experience producing live newscasts.
• Strong editorial judgment and knowledge of politics and current events.
• Proven control room and breaking news experience.
• Ability to manage talent, producers, and bookers effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field preferred.

Editorial Producer Responsibilities:
• Pitch compelling news stories and segment ideas during daily editorial meetings.
• Research, book, and prepare timely guests and discussion topics.
• Monitor breaking news, soundbites, quotes, social media, and live events.
• Write segment summaries and build strong visual elements.
• Collaborate across producers, anchors, and bookers while managing futures planning.
