A leader in the digital media industry is hiring a Homepage Editor in Los Angeles, CA for a full time position, onsite 5 days/week.

Homepage Editor Perks:

Homepage Editor Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a homepage or breaking news editor.
• Proven experience programming a high traffic homepage.
• Strong editorial judgment and clear communication skills.
• Hands on experience using WordPress under deadline pressure.
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools.

Homepage Editor Responsibilities:
• Program and update the homepage with timely and engaging stories.
• Use real time analytics to guide story placement and framing.
• Collaborate with editors across departments on story presentation.
• Write sharp headlines optimized for readers and search.
• Adjust content quickly to maximize reach and engagement.
