Join a financial association as its newest hybrid remote Marketing Events Manager in Washington, DC.  The Marketing Events Manager must be able to commute into the Washington, DC office two days per week.

Marketing Events Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mass Communications, Marketing, or Liberal Arts; Advanced degree a plus.
  • At least 7-10 years’ experience at an ad agency or in-house communications department, with a strong blend of experiential tradeshow marketing and product marketing.
  • Must have extensive experience supporting sponsorship sales, exhibits and event booth design.
  • Strong written, oral communications and organizational skills are essential to this position.
  • Requires proven analytical, research and project management capabilities when managing large marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work well with others and provide leadership and project management when required.
Marketing Events Manager Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute creative marketing plans for tradeshows/conferences, online products, programs and services. Produce targeted email marketing, website and social media content.
  • Create and execute experiential marketing campaigns for organizations’ presence at events and conferences.
  • Facilitate booth set up and breakdown with event staff and greet prospects at conferences.
  • Serve as the strategic partner for internal and external clients. Provide responsive, personalized customer service, and works on the development and execution of experiential marketing campaigns.
  • Exhibit project management skills when working with clients, designers and colleagues in planning, writing, developing, and coordinating marketing and communications campaigns. Adhere to production schedules and meet stated deadlines for all marketing projects.
  • Monitor and assess marketing metrics throughout each campaign lifecycle and make necessary adjustments to ensure they are meeting and exceeding revenue goals. Develop marketing analysis reports to determine campaign effectiveness.
