- 7–10+ years of newsroom reporting experience, with a focus on enterprise or investigative reporting
- Proven track record of breaking exclusive, high-impact stories
- Strong source development skills across one or multiple hard-news beats
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and news judgment abilities
- Comfort reporting on-camera and engaging audiences across digital platforms
News Reporter (Enterprise) Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise and investigative reporting across Los Angeles and California
- Break exclusive stories through deep sourcing and original reporting
- Develop and execute long-term investigative projects alongside breaking news
- Pitch and produce original stories that uncover wrongdoing, power dynamics, and overlooked communities
- Collaborate with editors, photographers, and digital teams on multi-platform storytelling
