A leader in the science industry is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Alexandria, VA for a full-time hybrid remote position.

Senior Software Engineer Benefits:

  • Salary: $130,000 – $155,000, depending on relevant experience

Senior Software Engineer Requirements:
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain T3 Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in enterprise software development
  • Proficiency in C# .NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular, React, or Vue), and AWS services
  • Experience with SQL databases, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines

Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Develop modular, secure, and maintainable full-stack applications using modern technologies
  • Drive cloud modernization, migrating legacy systems to serverless AWS architecture
  • Collaborate with product owners to understand user needs and deliver high-quality software
  • Lead small development teams, provide code reviews, and mentor junior developers
  • Ensure applications meet FedRAMP, DoD, and NIST security standards through enhanced security practices
