Profiles is currently seeking a creative and innovative UX Copywriter courtesy of our thriving client local to the Columbus, OH area. This opportunity is a long-term, hybrid opportunity requiring 2 to 3 days in the office. The UX Copywriter will plan and write the microcopy for apps, websites, and other digital products.

The UX Copywriter role will often balance many projects, contributing to multiple initiatives across the marketing mix including the website, email, app, push, and social. This role will be expected to produce error-free content, operationalize content created for future re-use, and have the skills and attention to detail to edit their own work.

UX Copywriter Qualifications:

  • Strong writing skills and a strong understanding of grammar
  • Ability to communicate well and put ideas into written words
  • Knowledge of usability testing and A/B testing
  • Strong research skills
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Creativity and the ability to switch to different voices
  • Ability to work well with the design team
  • Familiarity with design and software

UX Copywriter Responsibilities:

  • Writing grammatically correct content for user interfaces
  • Proofreading and editing copy
  • Creating the brand voice 
  • Researching user preferences and trends
  • Reviewing business requirements to create copy that fits
  • Conducting A/B testing on copy
  • Collaborating with other design team members
  • Creating solutions based on user feedback, usability testing and metrics
