A leader in the Broadcast Media and television news industry is hiring a Coordinating Producer in New York, NY for a full-time position, onsite 5 days a week.

Coordinating Producer Perks:

Coordinating Producer Requirements:

  • 5+ years of control room experience in cable television news production
  • Strong editorial judgment and breaking news experience
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced live news environment
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and emerging media trends
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field preferred

Coordinating Producer Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with producers to build, booth, and execute live broadcasts
  • Monitor wires, social media, and news platforms for breaking developments
  • Coordinate communication between control room teams, field crews, and on-air talent
  • Copy edit scripts and review graphics/video for editorial accuracy
  • Pitch and produce segments while contributing to daily editorial planning
