A Fortune 200 financial organization is hiring a detail-oriented hybrid remote Data Project Manager near Richmond, VA. This is a direct hire opportunity where individuals will be required to work up to 3 days on-site and 2 days remotely. Candidates must currently reside near McLean, VA.

Data Project Manager Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of employment experience in Project AND Process Management.
  • 1+ years of employment experience coding in relevant languages or platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or SQL.
  • 1+ years of employment experience in analyzing data and reporting utilizing data management tools. 
  • Six Sigma Certification, PMP Certification, or another relevant certification.
  • Standard soft skills including, but not limited to; autonomy, collaboration, problem-solving, and exceptional communication in both verbal and written formats, etc.
  • Project Management experience partnered with leading initiatives, estimating timelines, and facilitating seamless process flow. 
  • G-suite and Slack knowledge is preferred.
Data Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Champion best practices in data quality management, ensuring adherence to principles such as metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and manage project plans in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, effectively driving project outcomes through communication and influence.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on operations, supporting moderate to large-scale projects and programs.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to adapt to change.
  • Proactively take ownership of initiatives, craft a vision, and drive results in an ambiguous environment.
  • Utilize process management concepts to work collaboratively with stakeholders and drive operational efficiency.
