Video Editor

A leading pioneer in the autonomous transportation industry is currently seeking a Video Editor for a 6-month contract opportunity local to Foster City, CA. Candidates local to the Foster City area will be considered as this role is on-site 5 days per week.

• 5+ years of work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media, Broadcasting, or another similar area.
• Extensive field and studio experience for a creative agency or internal creative team.
• Expert competence in video editing systems including, but not limited to Adobe Premiere or Davinci Resolve (Davinci Resolve is preferred for editing and grading).
• Experience with video production, production of creative assets, photo editing, motion graphics, etc.
• Strong instincts for effective visual storytelling and working ability within Adobe Creative Suite.
• Extensive experience with Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop and After Effects preferred.

• Lead the editing of video projects from ingestion of raw footage to final deliverables, while collaborating with Creative and Marketing teams throughout the process (from concept to completed video).
• Assist with smaller productions, setting up lights, cameras, audio equipment, and manning cameras during interviews and capturing b-roll.
• Collaborate with various teams on video projects for social media content, trailers, educational longer-form videos, video ads, sizzle reels, b-roll, internal explainer videos, etc.
