A leader in the financial services industry is hiring a Reporting Analyst in Irvine, CA for a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity.

Reporting Analyst Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in BI reporting, data analysis, or analytics roles.
  • Proficiency in Power BI (including Power Query, DAX, data modeling) and Sigma Computing.
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience querying Snowflake, SQL Server, or Redshift.
  • Experience translating business requirements into effective dashboards and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate across teams.


Reporting Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Sigma Computing.
  • Partner with stakeholders across mortgage operations, sales, finance, and compliance to gather and translate reporting needs into scalable BI solutions.
  • Build and optimize data models, calculated fields, and DAX measures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Connect to and query data sources including SQL databases, Snowflake, and Databricks to develop reliable data pipelines.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot existing reports and dashboards, ensuring performance and data integrity.
